Helping Magalsky Children's Boarding School
The “Organization of Repair and Arrangement of the Magalsky Children’s Boarding School” project was a response to a shocking article about the unacceptable conditions in which children with severe health issues were living in this institution. After the publication of disturbing images that shocked public opinion, it became evident that urgent changes were needed to provide children with proper living conditions and care.
The NGO team, together with partners like “Rozetka,” the NGO “Dobrobat,” and others, took on the task of creating comfortable, clean, and safe conditions in the Magalsky Children’s Boarding School. They aimed to equip it with modern technology and necessary supplies for the children’s comfortable and hygienic stay. This included purchasing TVs for entertainment and education, laundry dryers and washing machines for cleanliness, dishwashers, and involving specialists to work with children with disabilities. Additionally, renovations were carried out to eliminate any dangerous defects and create a safe space for the children.
Our director, Anton Gulidin, joined the Supervisory Board of the Magalsky Children’s Boarding School to oversee the situation and respond promptly to any violations of children’s rights or living conditions in the institution.
These steps not only improved the living conditions of the children but also restored their belief that their rights and safety are a priority. Gradually, with the help of new equipment and support, an atmosphere of trust and growth was created for each resident of the Magalsky Boarding School. Our team continues to help and improve the living conditions of these children.
