Support at the Invictus Games 2023
From September 9th to 16th this year, the German city of Dusseldorf became the arena for the impressive “Invictus Games 2023.” This sporting event not only brought together participants from around the world but also became a symbol of resilience and dedication. That’s why Anton Gulidin, the director of the charitable organization “Friends of Ukraine Foundation,” personally traveled to Dusseldorf to support and assist its participants.
The charitable organization “Friends of Ukraine Foundation” actively participated in preparing the team for the event. Together with other members of the working group and their organizations, we had the incredible task of creating favorable conditions for training, psychological support, and ensuring all the necessary resources for the participants’ quality preparation and representation at the games. The team of participants, consisting of 25 heroes, felt the support and recognition, which we saw reflected on their faces.
Participation in the “Invictus Games” is not just about competing for medals but also about self-improvement and overcoming personal challenges. Each participant, overcoming trials and challenges, earned great respect.
The support for our team, especially from Prince Charles, who demonstrated his favor and respect for Ukrainian Defenders to the whole world, was particularly memorable.
