Delivery of humanitarian aid: united efforts in the Kherson region

Difficult life circumstances and crisis situations require quick response and joint efforts to help those in need. In the Kherson region, as a result of the devastating man-made disaster organized by the Russian Federation, we witnessed the consequences of the explosion at the Kakhovskaya HPP and subsequent flooding, which led to large-scale destruction. This crisis required an immediate and coordinated response to help the affected population.
Fortunately, we did not stand idly by during this crucial moment, and the volunteers of the International Charitable Foundation “Friends of Ukraine Foundation” stepped up to take on the responsibility of conducting a large-scale humanitarian aid delivery mission to this region.
Initially, our volunteers reached out to local authorities and the Charity Organization “MBF Foundation for Ukraine’s Revival” to assess the most pressing needs of the population in this emergency situation. The success of this mission was made possible through the sincere support of several organizations and companies that joined our efforts.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to:
- The Charitable Fund in Portugal, the Association of Ukrainian Refugees UAPT, for their immediate support and the shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Your generosity has enabled us to deliver essential resources to those in need.
- OKKO company, which generously covered a portion of the fuel costs by providing coupons for 200 liters of diesel. Your support has facilitated our team’s journey to the areas where assistance is most urgently required.
This collaboration underscores the significance of cooperation and aid during critical moments. Even in challenging conditions, we remain committed to doing everything within our power to provide assistance to those in need. Your support serves as our greatest motivation.
